Knits is a contemporary Alexandria-based label, founded by Abdelrahman Abo Elfadl and his brother Belal Abo Elfadl in March of 2021.
The brand’s designer and founder, Belal, has a keen eye for detail and a passion for design that reflects in every piece he draws. Abdelrahman on the other hand, handles the technicalities of the production process, making sure each piece is crafted with utmost care and that Belal’s ideas are brought to life.
Before the launch of any new collection, Abdelrahman and Belal sit together to discuss every aspect of the garment creation process, from handpicking fabrics to choosing color palettes, all the way to design and finishing.
With their passion and their extensive knowledge of fabrics, the Abo Elfadl brothers are able to bring you effortlessly chic, yet surprisingly practical pieces.

It Runs In The Family
The Abo Elfadl name is not at all new to the apparel scene. The brothers’ fascination with fashion stems from their father, Hussein Abo Elfadl, a pioneer designer, distributor, and manufacturer of many desirable apparel brands for men, since 1982.
With a 40-year legacy in the industry, Knits can draw support from Abo Elfadl’s heritage and substantial experience in the apparel market, allowing it to thrive and compete with global brands.
